The Authentication failure error means your API Keys were not entered correctly in your Crypto.com trading bot. Crypto.com reports this as a 401 error — Not authenticated, or key/signature incorrect.

How to fix it

The quickest way to resolve this is to reconnect your exchange using Fast Connect, which handles the API Key entry automatically:

  1. Go to your Base config.

  2. Open the Exchange section.

  3. Click Fast Connect and follow the steps to reconnect your Crypto.com account.

  4. Save your settings.

How to confirm it is fixed

Check your trading bot output. The Authentication failure error should no longer appear.
