Why are the Total in assets in USD on exchange different on web and app?

See differences in asset totals on Cryptohopper app and website? It's likely due to quote currency settings.

When you notice a difference in the value of your total assets in USD (or another quote currency) between Cryptohopper's iOS or Android app and Cryptohopper's website, it's most likely due to the currency setting you've selected on the website.

For example, if your quote currency is USDT and you have the following value in USDT in total assets on the exchange:

Cryptohopper web interface showing total assets value of 10,716.82 USDT (7.17% gain) with editable start balance of 10,000.00, demonstrating portfolio tracking functionality

When you then click on USDT in the screenshot above, you will see the value in USD:

Cryptohopper dashboard displaying total assets converted to USD ($11,145.49) from USDT with unchanged start balance of 10,000.00, illustrating currency conversion feature between web and mobile app

There is always a difference between the value of USDT and USD that we receive from the crypto exchange you are using. This can cause the values to differ.
