When using trading signals in your trading bot, you may encounter the message 'Signal for different exchange/currency. Stopping here.' This message can mean several things:

  1. You are using a different cryptocurrency exchange than the one intended for that specific trading signal.

  2. You have not selected the currency in your 'Currencies and amounts' settings in the Base config of your trading bot, and therefore are not receiving the trading signal.

  3. The signal is for a different quote currency.

When subscribing to a trading signal, always check for which cryptocurrency exchange the signaler sends trading signals, for which quote currency, and for which base currencies (the cryptocurrencies you select under 'Currencies and amounts').

It is not a problem if you see the message 'Signal for different exchange/currency' when trades are still being executed via your signaler. If there are never any trades made via trading signals from your signaler, check the Cryptohopper Marketplace, select your signaler and check their performance reports for which currencies, quote currencies, and cryptocurrency exchanges often receive signals, or contact the Marketplace Seller for more information.
