Cryptohopper's Marketplace offers several tools to help you set up your crypto trading bot. This article explains the differences between these options to help you choose the right one for your needs.

Signals

Signals are trading recommendations from third-party analysts (signalers) that help you make trading decisions. These signals are sent directly to your bot. You can add signals to your bot by downloading or purchasing them from our Marketplace. When using signals, you'll still need to configure all other settings of your trading bot yourself.

Strategies

Strategies are composed of Technical Indicators that determine when your bot should buy or sell crypto assets. You have two options: create your own Strategy using the Strategy designer or download/purchase pre-made Strategies from our Marketplace. Similar to Signals, when using a Marketplace Strategy, you'll still need to configure all other bot settings yourself.

Templates

Templates are pre-configured bots with settings already established for you. While you'll still need to connect your trading bot to your exchange, Templates take care of setting up all other features.

Cryptohopper offers many different features which can be overwhelming for new users. Templates simplify this by having all features pre-configured. Marketplace Sellers often recommend complementary Strategies or trading Signals to use with their Templates, so be sure to read the Template description thoroughly.

For beginners just starting with Cryptohopper who want to use the regular trading bot, Templates are the most complete and easiest option available.
