How can I blacklist trading signals?

Cryptohopper Hero users can block signals for specific coins by setting a long cooldown in Config pool or use Signals only

Cryptohopper doesn't have a cryptocurrency blacklist feature for trading signals for users with a Hero subscription who have 'Allow all coins' enabled in their Signal config. However, there are 2 ways to prevent receiving trading signals in your trading bot:

Trading signals only, select unlimited number of cryptocurrencies

If you have "Signals only" enabled under "Strategy" in your Base config while being a Hero subscriber, you will have the option to select an unlimited number of cryptocurrencies for which you want to receive trading signals. This can be configured under "Currencies and amounts" in the Base config. In this case, you must have "Allow all coins" disabled in the Signal config. This allows you to limit which cryptocurrencies you will receive trading signals for.

  1. Ensure you have "Allow all coins" disabled in all your Signal configs:

Cryptohopper signal configuration panel with settings for Pause signal, Market order, Buy amount in USDT, Take profit at, Percentage bid/ask toggles (0.5 Lower/Higher), Sell signals, Signal configuration, and Allow all coins options with Save/Cancel buttons
  2. Enable "Signals only" under "Strategy" of the Base config:

Cryptohopper trading bot Strategy settings panel showing General navigation menu, Signals only toggle enabled, Number of targets to buy set to 2, and navigation options for Basic settings, Exchange, Notifications, Buy settings, and Coins and amounts

  3. Select as many cryptocurrencies as you want to receive trading signals for under "Currencies and amounts."

Cryptohopper Coins and amounts configuration panel showing USDT quote currency selection, dual cryptocurrency selection interface with Available coins list (including HOPR, SUKU, VeChain) and Selected coins list (205 coins including KeeperDAO, ICON, Ravencoin) with search functionality

Config pools with cooldown

As a Hero user, you can receive all trading signals for your quote currency using the "Allow all coins" setting in the Signaler config. However, if you also like to trade based on your own trading strategy, you will need to blacklist cryptocurrencies for which you don't want to receive trading signals.

You can create a Config pool for the currencies you don't want to trade and set a cooldown after a buy, for example, 365 days. If a trading signal comes in for one of the unwanted cryptocurrencies, you will only trade this currency once due to the cooldown configured in the Config pool. Example:

Cryptohopper New config pool interface showing Buy Settings with Market order type, 0.5 percentage bid Lower, 5-day max open time, and Cooldown feature enabled for 365 days only after buys, alongside General, Buying, and Selling navigation menu
