How can I set up my first Cryptohopper Backtest?

  1. Login to your Cryptohopper account

  2. In this example we use this free Template

    Cryptohopper Momentum USDT Explorer Level template featuring a purple radar logo, circuit board background, and Explorer 15 Coin functionality for automated cryptocurrency trading

  3. Download the Template

  4. Download the free Strategy required for this Template

  5. Create a new bot by clicking on "My bots"

  6. Click "View all" and then "New"

  7. Select "Trading Bot"

  8. Click on "Market templates"

  9. Select the Template you just downloaded

  10. Click "Save"

  11. Change the minimum amount per order to 100 in your base config

  12. Change the percentage buy amount to 0

  13. Click "Save"

  14. Set up a Backtest

  15. Click "New backtest"

  16. Select the bot you just configured

  17. Select 4 weeks under date range and time

  18. Click on "Optional settings"

  19. Add 10000 for the start amount

  20. Click "Start backtest"

  21. Wait for the backtest to complete
