Every crypto exchange has different rules regarding minimum trade amounts for all trading pairs and quote currencies. When you see the info message 'The buy amount is too low, lower than the minimum for this market', it means your buy amounts are too low to open a new position. There are a few things you can do to prevent this issue:

  • Check the minimum trade amounts for your crypto exchange and ensure your 'Percentage buy amount' or 'Minimum amount per order' is above the exchange's minimum trade amounts. In some cases, the value may differ from what the crypto exchange indicates as the minimum trade amount.

  • Enable 'Force minimum buy amounts'. This ensures that no orders are placed lower than the amount set by you in Cryptohopper. If this feature is disabled, the bot will still attempt to execute orders on your crypto exchange account.

Read more about how to configure your buy amounts with set amounts per order or based on a percentage of your portfolio.
