Yes, Cryptohopper is safe to use. We do not have permission to withdraw your funds — so even in the unlikely event of a data breach, hackers cannot access your money.

How Cryptohopper protects you

  • No fund access — Cryptohopper can only place and manage trades. We cannot withdraw funds from your exchange account.

  • Encrypted storage — All saved passwords and API keys are encrypted in our database.

  • Cloudflare protection — Our website has an active web application firewall and DDoS protection via Cloudflare.

  • AWS infrastructure — The platform runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with server security managed by AWS.

How to strengthen your account security

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your account for an extra layer of protection.

Always use IP Whitelisting to ensure orders can only be placed from Cryptohopper's servers.

Your funds on exchanges

The crypto exchanges Cryptohopper works with invest heavily in their own security. Your funds are stored on the exchange, not on Cryptohopper.
