What happens when I load a template on my bot?

Loading a template overrides all your bot's configuration settings, config pools, and triggers. Your API keys and quote currency are not affected.

When you load a template onto your bot, the template overrides all your existing configuration settings, config pools, and triggers. Your API keys and quote currency are never affected.

What gets overridden

The following are replaced by the template's configuration:

  • Configuration settings — all bot settings are replaced with those from the template.

  • Config pools — your existing config pools are overridden.

  • Triggers — any triggers you had configured are replaced.

What stays the same

The following are never overridden when you load a template:

  • API keys

  • Quote currency

Confirmation before loading

Before the template is applied, Cryptohopper shows you a warning that lists everything that will be overridden. Review this carefully before clicking Load template.
