You receive this error message when you have created an API key on Bitvavo but have not yet confirmed it through the email sent by Bitvavo.

How to resolve this issue:

When you create an API key for Bitvavo, you must always confirm it by clicking the confirmation link in the email you receive from Bitvavo. Without this confirmation, the API key will not be active, and your bot will not be able to connect to your Bitvavo account.

Steps to fix:

  1. Check your email inbox for a message from Bitvavo

  2. Look for the API key confirmation email

  3. Click the confirmation link in the email

  4. Once confirmed, your API key will become active and your bot will work properly

Note: If you cannot find the confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate it, you may need to create a new API key on Bitvavo, which will trigger a new confirmation email.
