To enable seamless interaction between your trading bot and Coinbase, Cryptohopper offers two options: Fast Connect (based on Coinbase's oAuth2 solution) and API Key. Both methods establish a secure connection between Cryptohopper and the crypto exchange, allowing your trading bot to perform essential tasks such as automated order placement and accessing balance information for precise calculations.
Fast Connect your trading bot to Coinbase
Select Coinbase Advanced as your preferred exchange.
Click on "Fast Connect" and Log in with Your Coinbase Advanced account: With a single click on the Fast Connect button, you'll be directed to log in to your Coinbase Advanced account securely or you can create an account on Coinbase.
Enter your Coinbase login details in the pop-up provided by Coinbase.
Complete 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) and browser authorization: For an added layer of protection, you'll be prompted to enter your 2FA code. Additionally, if you're using an unfamiliar browser, you'll need to authorize it on Coinbase.
Observe your funds becoming visible in Cryptohopper: Once you've successfully completed the onboarding process on Cryptohopper, your Coinbase Advanced funds will become visible, and you're all set to start trading.
