This error can appear even when your subscription is active. It typically means your bot's configuration is not properly linked to your current subscription. In most cases, re-saving the base config resolves the issue.
Example error message:
"You do not have an active (Hero) subscription. Please subscribe now for a (Hero) subscription to be able to use the AI in your bot or configure a different strategy in your config."
Cause 1 — Configuration out of sync
Sometimes your bot does not pick up your active subscription correctly. This can happen after renewing, upgrading, or switching between subscriptions.
To fix this:
Go to Configuration > Base config.
Make a small change to any setting (you can change it back afterward).
Click Save.
Check whether the error is gone.
If you changed a setting just to trigger the save, revert it to the original value and save again.
Cause 2 — Subscription not assigned to the bot
If you have multiple bots, your subscription may be assigned to a different bot than the one showing the error. Each bot needs its own subscription assigned to it.
To check and assign your subscription, follow the steps in this guide.
